Roasted Tanzania Arabica AA North Kilimanjaro 100% Arabica coffee beans

Washed (wet) processing helps preserve a clean taste, a delicate aroma and brighter flavour notes.
Coffee's journey to Tanzania began as early as the 16th century, when missionaries and settlers brought the first Arabica seedlings here from Ethiopia. At first, coffee was grown in small quantities, mostly for local consumption, but the plantations later expanded rapidly. The favourable climate and fertile volcanic soil soon made coffee one of the country's most important export crops.
One of Tanzania's most prestigious coffees is Arabica AA North Kilimanjaro. It is grown in the north of the country, at the foot of the legendary Mount Kilimanjaro. Altitudes of around 1,600–2,000 m above sea level, volcanic soil and natural mountain water create ideal conditions for the coffee cherries to ripen slowly. As a result, the beans build up more flavour and become exceptionally aromatic.
The AA grade denotes the highest category of bean size and quality – these beans are as uniform as possible and very carefully selected. The flavour profile is dominated by notes of ripe berries, citrus, flowers and chocolate. The coffee has a medium body, a bright yet harmoniously balanced acidity and a long, lingering finish.
Tanzania Arabica AA North Kilimanjaro is an excellent choice for connoisseurs looking for a classic yet distinctive East African coffee character. It is particularly well suited to filter coffee, i.e. pour-over brewing methods (Hario V60, Chemex, etc.), as these let its delicate aromas and clean taste come through fully.
