Composition
Microgranules are small spheres ranging from 200 μm to 1 mm in size. They consist of:
- Inert core, made of inert technological ingredients such as xylitol and cellulose. Its function is to support the active ingredients.
- Active layer, attached to the supporting core using a specific polymer.
- Coating / shell, which allows the pharmacokinetics to be controlled and modulated and protects the active substance.
