Composition
What are microgranules?
Microgranules are small spheres ranging from 200 µm to 1 mm in size. They consist of:
Inert core – made of inert technological ingredients such as xylitol and cellulose. Its function is to support the active ingredients.
Active layer – attached to the supporting core using a special polymer.
Coating (shell) – allows the pharmacokinetics to be controlled and modulated and protects the active substance (or substances).
